I provide a practical pathway toward healing, one that involves self-compassion and empowerment.
Integrative Psychiatry may include medications as part of the treatment plan. I help you find the optimal medication regimen, one that promotes your wellbeing while minimizing side effects. I can also add on holistic methods in order to tackle symptoms from multiple angles, the beauty of cumulative gains.
I will teach you various medication and mindfulness practices to promote mood symptoms and decrease anxiety. My goal is to also empower you with the tools to work through challenging times as they (inevitably) emerge during this journey we call life.
I work with you to identify the most optimal practices for sleep, nutrition and exercise based on your unique circumstances. Changing habits is not always easy but certain behaviors and perspectives can make you feel empowered to take this on and attain peak results.
I use principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Spiritual and Interpersonal Therapy. I start by listening to your unique story before sharing my insights in order to shed light on the reasons you may be experiencing certain feelings or challenges. I will identify patterns that can be barriers to wellbeing and work with you to develop positive practices that can break the negative patterns and create a path for positive and healing behaviors.
Traditional prescription medications can be helpful but there are supplements and plant-based medications that also influence various neurochemical pathways that influence mood, anxiety, focus, and sleep concerns. I can help you identify and source optimal supplements that best fit your needs. I will also review any supplements you may already be taking to ensure there are no negative interactions between these and any other medications you may be taking.
Research has shown that genetic variations can influence how we process or respond to certain treatments. Genetics can also demonstrate whether we are prone to lower levels of certain supplements such as folic acid for example. I use genetic testing to identify optimal medication regimens and any need for additional supplementation based on your unique profile.
Feeling on edge and constant worry can rob us of living our best lives. I can help you remove the fear of anxiety, worry less and reduce panic and any obsessive behaviors. My goal is to help you live your best life and improve functioning in various aspects of life including home, work, friendships.
I can help you improve mood symptoms in order to feel happier and live a more fulfilling life free from the burden of depression or other mood episodes that can impact quality of life including our relationships and achievements.
I will work with you to recognize the sequalae of emotional and physical trauma and process the implications and impact it may be having on your life. My goal is to help you face your fears in order to promote healing and the experience of positive emotions.
My goal is to empower you with the knowledge to make well informed decisions about your mental health and overall well-being. Together, we will explore your unique journey and make changes to address symptoms and move toward happiness and fulfillment. I look forward to collaborating with you on this transformative journey.
