Integrative psychiatry incorporates conventional (such as traditional medications) and alternative modalities (such as supplements ) in order to create a holistic treatment plan.
Women’s Mental Health focuses on treating mental health conditions unique to women including: postpartum depression, premenstrual dysphoric mood disorder, menopausal transition or conditions that often occur at a higher rate in women (such as anxiety and major depressive disorder)
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who completed medical school followed by a 4- year residency specializing in psychiatry. A psychiatrist’s training involves both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions in addressing various mental health conditions.
I treat various conditions including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also treat conditions unique to women including peripartum (or postpartum) depression and anxiety, premenstrual dysphoric disorder as well as mood symptoms and anxiety related to the menopausal transition.
I work with adults between the ages of 18 and 64.
I am not in-network with any insurance companies. Patients self-pay, and depending on their out-of-network insurance benefits, may be reimbursed for partial fees.Our office can provide super bills.
On occasion, it may be appropriate to prescribe a stimulant for certain conditions. We do not prescribe opioids at this practice.
Patients are seen virtually using a secure video platform.
